Johnson Matthey is a leading refiner of precious metals and manufacturer of fine chemicals and process catalysts. Our major manufacturing and development facility in Royston, near Cambridge develops new processes, chemicals and catalysts for industrial, pharmaceutical and research customers worldwide. We are seeking well-motivated first degree, PhD or post-doctoral level chemists, with interest/experience in precious metal chemistry, heterogeneous or homogeneous catalysis. Good practical skills and an ability to plan and execute development projects are important requirements. Good interpersonal and team working skills are essential since early contact with customers is likely.
